Magazine Basket weaving

Weaving is easy craft,Magazine are available in every home so why not use it to store toys,or anything you feel clutter in home.

I have couple of magazines in home since from long time and I dont want to dispose them to our so called Raddiwala's.Recently I was looking for DIY using paper..voila here I have recycle paper project so here is quick demo:

List of items:

  1. Scissors,
  2. Long strips of papers(Khaki paper)
  3. Strong glue,
  4. Clear acrylic paint or acrylic colors of your choice to paint once you finish weaving.(optional)
  5. Make a strong basket after weaving dip a brush into medium, take equal quantity of fevicol/PVA and water mix it and appy, allow it to dry for 5 hours.
Note: If you dont find Glue here my home made recepie:
take 20gms of Maida/Flour add to water and keep on stove till you get glue like paste...you can use it to paste the papers:-)

Once the Base is ready, Take the side strips of paper and interlock with each other as we have done in step 3.Follow below steps the here we have basket.you can use magazine papers, newspapers etc.
