Quick Mushroom Soup : Simple & Tasty

Hi,

I was hungry middle of night as you all know nocturnal awakening is on my agenda these days...

when into Kitchen for milk...but we haven't got milk at night ..then started looking for something I can cook and eat...fast..   


  
A pack of ready made soup...tomato flavor..I lying in kitchen rack, I  don like it plain  ...so looked for some more stuff to make it tasty and healthy...ended up with Mashrooms ,garlic and ginger..in refrigerator.

Ingredients:

  1. Ready made Soup Pack
  2. 2/3 cloves of garlic
  3. 1 small piece of ginger
  4. 2/3 Button Mushrooms
  5. Oil 
  6. Black pepper
  7. Salt
Procedure:Total Time: 5 mins 
  1. Pour 1tbsp of oil in a pan, add long cut garlic chips,saute for few seconds and then add ginger ,pepper powder..stir till you get ginger garlic aroma smell... 
  2. Add finely chopped Mushrooms and then add water to it .
  3. Boil it for 2 mins and then add the  Ready made Soup mixture..and keep stirring for 1 min.

Soup is ready...serve Hot and enjoy!!

Note:- I did not use full pack of Mixture..I used around 2tbsp...Rest is still lying in cupboard..next time with to try some other flavor.

Recycle Waste CD's.

Hi,
Yes I am back with DIY CD project.

I know sometimes we think what to do with these CD's especially the waste damaged ones.
So here is a simple DIY..hope you like it.Inspiration from fellow bloggers on net.

What you need:-

  1. Photo Frame--hand made or purchased with no decoration on sides...as sides will be used later.
  2. Glue;Fevicol MR Easy Flow.
  3. Scissor.
  4. Waste clean cloth.
  5. Nail paint: dark red/green/blue (lustrous texture.)


step-step:

  1. Get the CD's and cut it in small rectangular square or any shape you like.
  2. Paste those on the sides of the frame and all it to completely dry.( 1-3hr) using the easy flow.
  3. Take a brush and paint all the sides with the nail paint( opt for single or multiple colors) All it to dry completely.
  4. Clean with cloth for any dirt.

Tip:-  Leave small gaps while pasting the chips..you can fill up the gaps with black color.

Multi Grain sprout Cereal/Pulses Porridge (Ganji) : For All Ages

Hi ,
Thought of sharing with you all a healhty-tasty recepie for Porrdige(Ganji) that I had prepared when I was pregnant.Though you might feel its a lenghty process, I bet you would enjoy the end product.

Instead of horlicks , I used to have it twice in a day,you can limit 1 glass.
so here we go:-

Ingredeints:-
Cereals -
  1. Raagi (Finger Millet) – 2 cups
  2. Red rice – 1 cup
  3. Parboiled rice  – 1 cup
  4. Bajra (Pearl millet) – 1/2 cup
  5. Jowar  – 1/2 cup
  6. Wheat – 1/2 cup
  7. Oats – 1/4 cup
  8. Sabudana (Sago) – 1/4 cup
  9. Corn – 1/4 cup
  10. Barley – 1/4 cup

Pulses -
  1. Green gram (Full moong) – 1/2 cup
  2. Soyabean – 1/4 cup
  3. Chickpeas (Chana kabuli) – 1/4 cup
  4. Fried gram (pottu kadalai) – 1/4 cup

Nuts -
  1. Groundnut – 1/8 cup
  2. Cashew – 1/8 cup
  3. Almonds – 1/8 cup
  4. Cardomom – 1 handful
  5. Flax seeds – 1 handful

Ingredients : Ganji Mix
Note: Don't get overwhelmed by the ingredients,you can add/remove as you wish.
Step-Step :

  1. Raagi, Bajra, Jowar – Wash each separately in water and soak for 2 days and tie in muslin cloth for 2 days in a dark place for sprouting. Then dry in shade till completely dry.
  2. Green gram(Moong), Soyabean, Channa – Wash each separately in water and soak for 1 days and tie in muslin cloth for 1 days in a dark place for sprouting. Then dry in shade till completely dry.
  3. Red rice, Boiled rice (puzhungal arisi), Wheat – wash and dry in shade till completely dry.
  4. Rest of the ingredients use as it is.
Mildly Dry roast all of the above ingredients one by one.All of the ingredients are dry and roasted.You can blend it in mixer/chakki to a fine powder.Ganji Powder is ready.

How to consume:-
Mix 2 tbsp of Ganji powder in drinking water and keep it on stove , once it starts to cook , add milk as you want and then add sugar/salt as per your taste.Make it 1 glass:-)

Tip:- Have it warm evening and morning instead of Tea/coffee.

Note:- you can use this powder and add in buttermilk with little bit of salt.
In north Karnataka/maharastra,called as Ambli/Ambil.This version I have made is very healthy.

For normal Ambil: Finger Millet powder soak overnight in Buttermilk.
 Mornibg ,make it boil add garlic salt and water and blend it to have a tasty  healthy cool drink in summer.
